From the breeding house to the flower show floor — what we have been growing, building and sharing.

         For a long time, Shengyin has focused on scientific research and development, earning the title of "Guangdong Private Science and Technology Enterprise". On one hand, Shengyin has built "Industry-University-Research Integration Demonstration Bases" with many well-known domestic scientific research institutions. It has collaborated with expert teams including Professor Zeng Xianjun's team at the South China Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Wei Biyu, Professor Li Xin of the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Chen Tongbin of the Environmental Restoration Center of the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Li Ji of China Agricultural University, Professor Wu Qitang's team at the College of Resources and Environment of South China Agricultural University, Professor Zhong Yunxiao's team, Professor Liu Haitao's team at the College of Forestry and Landscape Architecture of South China Agricultural University, Professor He Shengen's team at Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering, Shenyang Agricultural University, Yunnan Agricultural University, Guangdong Provincial Arable Land and Fertilizer Station, Guangdong Provincial Institute of Ecology and Environment and Soil, Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences Soil and Fertilizer Research Institute, and Professor Xu Yujuan's team at the Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences Sericulture and Agricultural Product Processing Research Institute.Currently, in agricultural planting, Shengyin has researched and bred thousands of new plant varieties and possesses a rich plant germplasm resource garden. In the deep processing of agricultural products, it focuses on the deep processing of "okra, moringa, and water celery", and has initially produced a series of independent health brand products. In science popularization, culture, and tourism, Shengyin has created two leisure agricultural tourism bases: the "Shengyin Garden" in Shuilian, Nancheng, and the "Shengli Garden" in Tianraobu, Hengli. It fully utilizes its role as a "Dongguan Science Popularization Education Base" to serve more citizens and give back to society. On the other hand, to develop an international exchange and cooperation platform for its "high-end first product", Shengyin has collaborated with international enterprises possessing advanced agricultural technologies, such as Yossi Matat of MATAT Knowledge in Israel, Israeli agricultural technology expert Azriel Assaf, Netherlands CBTC International Horticulture Co., Ltd., and Iranian saffron technology experts. Through digestion, absorption, and independent innovation, it has formed a complete set of advanced cultivation technologies and management models.

Establish the largest Amaryllis germplasm resource bank in China.

Guangdong Shengyin Flower Horticulture Co., Ltd. has established the largest single-product gene bank. After nearly 20 years of collection and hybrid breeding, it has collected over 300 varieties of Amaryllis from home and abroad. The flower colors of Shengyin's self-bred varieties exceed 5,000, including some rare fragrant varieties. In 2017, Shengyin No. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 passed the on-site expert identification organized by the Guangdong Provincial Seed Station, and respectively won the Gold and Silver Awards for exhibits at the 9th China Flower Expo. Currently, Shengyin has formed strong alliances with global Amaryllis producers. The base has mass-produced nearly 3 million Amaryllis plants, and the products have been sold across the country.
