Today, I am going to tell you the story of the Flower Enthusiast and the Flower Fairy.

Zhou Shiming was walking through a beautiful sea of flowers, feeling extremely joyful. At that moment, she saw a tall and handsome young man in a white suit walking towards her with a smile on his face. He bowed deeply to Zhou Shiming and said, "Sister Zhou, thank you. You have cultivated our flowers so beautifully and brought such beauty to the world. I am grateful to you!" Zhou Shiming was stunned for a moment. Hey, isn't this Ye Yaohua? "Ha, Yaohua, long time no see, how are you?" "I'm fine, Sister Zhou." Ye Yaohua looked back at Zhou Shiming and turned to leave. "Hey, hey, Yaohua, don't go! Hey, don't go!" In her panic, Zhou Shiming woke up. Oh, it turned out to be a dream. Zhou Shiming sat up and sighed. Flower Enthusiast, are you okay?

The "flower fanatic" Zhou Shiming mentioned is none other than Ye Yaohua, who appeared in his dreams. Ye Yaohua is a native of Dalingshan, Dongguan. He has loved flowers since childhood, and his home was filled with all kinds of flowers in the front and back yards. After growing up, he worked in the trade industry in Hong Kong, made a lot of money, bought a car and a house, and got married and had children. However, his love for flowers only intensified, especially for a flower called the Amaryllis. To what extent was he obsessed? For this flower, he sold his own house and opened specialized Amaryllis nurseries in Wanjiang, Heyuan, and other places. Since 2002, he has accumulated tens of thousands of flower seedlings, many of which are precious, high-quality varieties from all over the world. Calling Ye Yaohua a flower fanatic is truly no exaggeration. For example, when he heard that there was a high-quality seedling in South Africa priced at over 10,000 yuan, he took a special flight there, and then carried it back all the way, cradling it like a baby.

After introducing the flower enthusiast Ye Yaohua, I will now talk about the flower fairy Zhou Shiming. Zhou Shiming was originally a pharmacist who had loved and cared for flowers since childhood, with a particular fondness for roses. In 1994, she gave up her stable government job and went to Yunnan to grow roses, becoming the first entrepreneur from Guangdong Province to establish a flower farm in Yunnan. Her flower-growing and selling business flourished, earning her the beautiful nickname "Flower Fairy." Later, as the landscaping market boomed, she undertook the greening project for Dongguan Avenue and recruited engineering and technical personnel nationwide, which made the news. Subsequently, Zhou Shiming transitioned to researching bio-fertilizers, using them to grow fresh flowers, and became a leading figure in the entire Dongguan flower market.

Thus, with high-quality and even rare flower seedlings, and highly advanced bio-fertilizers, the meeting of the flower enthusiast and the flower fairy was destined. Ye Yaohua found Zhou Shiming, and they joined forces to plant ten thousand Amaryllis plants at the foot of Shuilian Mountain. During the blooming season, a vast expanse of brilliant red could be seen as far as the eye could reach, and even the air was filled with fragrance, making one feel refreshed and delighted. It was simply breathtakingly beautiful!

Just as they were doing exceptionally well, Zhou Shiming received a phone call. She told me, "Xiao Dai, I will never forget this moment." It was 3:40 PM on July 18, 2015, when Zhou Shiming received a call from Ye Yaohua. A somewhat weak voice came through the phone: "Sister, our partnership is about to end." Zhou Shiming was stunned. "Why? What happened?" Ye Yaohua said, "I can't make it anymore. It's late-stage liver cancer." Zhou Shiming could hardly believe it. Such a tall and handsome young man, who didn't look sick at all, how could he just be leaving? Zhou Shiming grew anxious and rushed to the hospital. Through Yaohua's wife, she learned that Ye Yaohua had undergone surgery for liver cirrhosis in 2012 and had been relying on medication for the past three years. Now his condition had worsened again, and it seemed truly beyond saving.

The flower enthusiast passed away on August 18, 2015. The memorial hall of his funeral was filled with the Amaryllis plants he had cultivated during his lifetime.

The flower enthusiast was gone, leaving behind an 8-year-old boy for his wife, a pile of flowers, and a mountain of debt. The kind-hearted flower fairy returned the remaining funds from their partnership and bought the Amaryllis plants left by the flower enthusiast for his wife in three batches, providing some support for the future of the mother and son.

As the flower enthusiast left, the Flower Fairy was stunned. Looking at the spectacular growth of the Amaryllis in the greenhouse, she was moved to tears but couldn't cry. Faced with the pressure of funding and a bleak future, she had no idea how to move forward! The Flower Fairy grew haggard, yet within her exhaustion lay immense strength and the unique wisdom of an entrepreneur. She firmly believed that the flowers the enthusiast had dedicated their life to protecting must hold special value. From then on, Zhou Shiming embarked on the research of Amaryllis. To learn, she, who didn't even know English, actually traveled to Israel. Her extraordinary love for flowers and her personal charm deeply moved Israel's top expert in the floral field—Asaf. He agreed to collaborate with the Flower Fairy, bringing advanced technology that allowed the flowers to bloom at any scheduled time. The Flower Fairy, Zhou Shiming, also emerged from her cocoon like a butterfly, making a magnificent transformation into an Amaryllis research expert. Today, there are over 4,500 hybrid varieties of Amaryllis, and the largest single-product gene bank in China has been established, with nearly a million mass-produced self-bred plants, laying the foundation for global marketing. The Flower Fairy finally breathed a sigh of relief. Along this journey, the inner hardships, bitterness, and difficulties could only be truly understood by Zhou Shiming herself. To commemorate this, she named the new Amaryllis variety she bred in Dongguan "Sheng Yin Nan". "Nan" originally meant difficulty, but since it was not suitable for a flower's name, she changed it to "Lan", meaning orchid.

Sheng Yin Lan possesses the nobility of the peony, the elegance of the lily, the brilliance of the rose, and the subtle fragrance of the orchid. With so many beauties gathered in one, in China, no matter which flower expo Sheng Yin Lan appears at, its extraordinary temperament and the characteristic of blooming as desired make it a showstopper, winning numerous awards. In the overseas market, it is surprisingly popular, especially in countries like the United States, Germany, and Japan, where Sheng Yin Lan is highly priced and often sells out. The keen insight of an entrepreneur gave Zhou Shiming a broader vision. She plans to grow flowers worldwide through a model of seed export, technical guidance, management follow-up, product acquisition, and a "company + farmer" approach, and then promote Sheng Yin Lan into hundreds of millions of households globally through touring exhibitions.

Sheng Yinlan is in Dongguan, and her own hometown is even more popular. She has appeared at the "Dongguan Marathon" awards ceremony, the "Yuan Chonghuan" press conference, various government-hosted meetings and events, and has also become a regular visitor to ordinary households beautifying their homes.

Sheng Yinlan, a beautiful elf nurtured and watered with the heart and soul of Huachi and Huaxianzi, is becoming a beautiful symbol of Dongguan's image, blooming on the land of the motherland and set to spread across the world, sowing beauty and goodness throughout the human world!
