Shengyin Environmental Technology

From the breeding house to the flower show floor — what we have been growing, building and sharing.

Dongguan Shengyin Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. was established in January 2008, relying on the strong technical and management capabilities of Guangdong Shengyin Flower Horticulture Co., Ltd.

The company adheres to the mission of "greening, beautifying, purifying, and agriculturalizing our shared home," taking on the responsibility of "scientific utilization of urban sludge, turning waste into treasure, and benefiting society." In collaboration with eight research institutions including the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, it has independently invested in research on the resource utilization of urban sludge, new product development and application, and key technology research for urban solid waste treatment, solving technical challenges such as deodorization, fermentation, decomposition, and dehydration in the sludge treatment process.

In recent years, Shengyin has continuously increased its investment in scientific research. Not only does it maintain close cooperation with numerous universities and research centers, but it has also formed strategic partnerships with foreign companies from Taiwan, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and other regions. This has led to further improvements in urban sludge treatment technology, enabling the production of excellent plant substrates and organic fertilizers, as well as their conversion into energy-saving building materials and fuels.

Over the past eight years, Shengyin has obtained multiple patents in urban solid waste treatment research, winning the First Prize of the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Award and the Third Prize of the Dongguan Science and Technology Progress Award in 2012. The Guangdong-Hong Kong key field bidding project has been appraised by experts as reaching an internationally advanced level. Meanwhile, it has completed several projects such as the "Demonstration Base for Industry-University-Research Integration of Harmless Treatment and Resource Utilization of Urban Sludge" and the "Pilot Study on Joint Composting Treatment and Resource Utilization of Kitchen Waste and Green Waste," achieving significant results. In 2012, the "Industrialization Project for Annual Reduction of Over 100,000 Tons of Urban Sludge" received 13.5 million yuan in funding support from the "National Development and Reform Commission's Environmental Protection Major Technology Equipment and Product Industrialization Project."

The rapid biological fermentation method for urban solid waste is a low-investment and low-operating-cost sludge treatment method that is environmentally safe and friendly. It is applied in the landscaping, floriculture, and forestry seedling industries, as well as in the manufacturing of high-end energy-saving building materials.

Shengyin has obtained business qualifications including the Guangdong Provincial Strict Control Waste Treatment License, the National Industrial Product Production License, and the Guangdong Provincial Temporary Fertilizer Registration Certificate. Fully utilizing its mastered sludge disposal technology, Shengyin collaborates with local science and technology stations for large-scale crop planting using its plant substrates and fertilizers. In terms of domestic sludge disposal demonstration, Shengyin has partnered with local environmental protection enterprises in Guangzhou, Jiangmen, Shunde, Nanhai, Yunan, and Maoming to demonstrate and promote harmless sludge treatment technology.

As a leader and practitioner in the low-carbon and environmentally friendly industry, Shengyin has garnered attention from national and provincial governments, as well as full recognition from all sectors of society. Let the flower of low-carbon environmental protection become a model of the circular economy, blooming in the "fertile soil" of national low-carbon recycling, and walking the path of a green circular economy.
